Crane Safety Inspection Regulations
Overhead cranes are important tools and equipment for mechanization and automation of the production process in modern industrial production and lifting and transportation. Some safety routine inspections are required in order to ensure the safe operation of the bridge crane. The inspection items and main points are as follows:
Check the lifting height limiter, the stroke limit switch and the interlocking mechanisms to ensure they are in good working conditions.
The main components meet the safety requirements: the opening enlargement is less than 15% of the original size, and the torsion deformation is less than 10%; the wear of the plate hook bushing is less than 50% of the original size, and the plate hook mandrel wear is less than 5%, no peeling , burr, or welding repair.There are no obvious defects in the hook hanger and pulley.
The amount of wire wear and corrosion on the surface of the wire rope is less than 40% of the diameter of the wire, and the broken wire is less than 10% of the total number of wires in a lay length. There is no broken end, no obvious thinning, no dead corner twisting or extrusion deformation.
The brake has no cracks, looseness, and serious wear. The two sides of the brake gap are equal in size and have sufficient braking force. The wear of the brake band is less than 50% of the original thickness.
The safety routine inspection of the overhead cranes plays a significant role in preventing personal accidents, reducing equipment accidents, improving equipment operation rate, and reducing maintenance costs.
